Artfully Elegant

 

THE LEAF

The vine drops its leaf,
its pattern a reminder,
Nature on display.

 Beauty so sublime,
lacy traces of waning
autumn seeking sleep.

Leaf in a garden,
dropped on a canvas of soil,
artfully graceful.
