Hope and Faith

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and has made the Lord his hope and confidence. Jeremiah 17:7

There is nowhere else to go but to God. He is not the last resort; He is the first choice. The only choice. That’s who Jesus turned to in his darkest hours. Knowing he was bound for an unspeakably painful and horrifically barbaric death, Jesus gave hope to his followers and strength to his trusted disciples. They would fail him, but he did not fail them. He was made strong through faith in God’s plan. We are made strong by God’s profound love. We have hope because we know we are redeemed by grace, not because we have earned it, but because God loves us.
